Studio Mutual Spaces is a design studio operating within the boundaries of architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, interior design, and object design. The studio emphasizes sustainable materials, contemporary aesthetics, and human-centered design, crafting immersive spaces and meaningful experiences that foster connection and well-being.

Recent and ongoing projects include residential interiors, urban interventions, landscape-integrated spaces, spatial installations, architectural and urban concept designs, and research-driven exhibitions, as well as a handcrafted tile design project that explores the intersection of art, craftsmanship, and storytelling. The studio also engages in sustainable and biophilic design research, continuously exploring new ways to integrate environmentally conscious strategies into the built environment.

We design with a focus on timeless materials—wood, stone, and living surfaces that evolve with time. Our aesthetic is clean, structured, and modern, with bold accent colors adding depth and energy. We believe in a balance between minimalism and expression, where every material choice and color contrast serves a purpose. Our work is about creating designs that feel both grounded in tradition and refreshingly contemporary.

Sümeyye is a multidisciplinary designer and creative strategist with a global perspective. Navigating between Europe and the US, she merges spatial storytelling with bold aesthetics and sustainability.

Holding a Master’s degree in Architecture & Environment and a LEED Green Associate credential, she integrates sustainable materials, biophilic design principles, and healthy building strategies into her work. With thorough knowledge of healthy materials and sustainable building practices, she ensures that environmental responsibility is embedded in every aspect of the design process.

With over a decade of experience in architecture, spatial design, interior design, exhibition design, and object-making, she crafts immersive experiences and user-centric, eco-conscious designs. Her approach balances conceptual rigor with hands-on craftsmanship, fostering innovation through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
