Description

In our role as students in the Interior Architecture Studio, we undertook the design of a beer garden for the 20th Coburg Design Festival. The core concept driving our design was to establish a spatial arrangement characterized by amorphous structures. This was brought to life through the strategic arrangement of rods devoid of a specific direction, concurrently serving as the structural framework. The space was further developed using an orange construction fence, connecting the bars and thereby giving rise to a cohesive spatial structure. Crowning the tops of these bars are small umbrellas, serving as distinctive endpoints. The organically shaped seating landscape gracefully winds around the bars across the entire area, aiming to extend a warm invitation to visitors and foster opportunities for communication.
